Whatever your need, you can do it with Rit ! It will meet all your redecorating, craft, wardrobe and fabric needs. Rit Dye Powder Dye works beautifully on many washable fabrics including: natural fibers, such as cotton, silk and linen; synthetics such as rayon, nylon and acetate; blends will tint evenly, but will not achieve full color. Double the quantity of dye for dark or bright colors. For maximum coverage, use the washing machine technique. Use the stove-top technique for best color results when dyeing with black dye or other dark colors. Great for tie-dye techniques, and can be brushed or rubbed onto wood projects for staining or stenciling.

Ingredients: Salt (Sodium Chloride), Anionic and Nonionic Surfactants.

Use double the quantity of dye for dark or bright colors such as black, navy blue, cocoa brown, purple, scarlet, dark green, etc. Add 1 cup salt for best results when dyeing cotton, rayon, linen, ramie or blends of these fibers. Add 1 tablespoon laundry detergent to dyebath. For most washable fabrics. Not recommended for 100% polyester, 100% acrylic or fabrics with special finishes, rubber backing, washable only in cold water or labeled dry clean only. Use RIT Color Remover before dyeing to lighter or different color. Complete directions on inside surface of carton.
